Workout Apparel – What must you carry while exercising?

The workout apparel you put on depends on:

  • Where You Do Your Exercise
  • If you exercise indoor, the temperature can vary greatly.

You may first feel cold in an air-conditioned (air-con) room, then feel hot as well as sweaty as you exercise, then feel freezing again while you cool down. Then, while you leave the air-con room as well as go outside, you’ll either feel cold or hot.For all these reasons, people  consider layering is the most excellent for the condition.A couple of  the lightweight workout pants or the  shorts; a T-shirt; broad, leaky socks as well as a sweatshirt could be your “whole works” to keep away from chills.Prefer apparel that’s got “wicking” action, i.e. it sends sweats away from your body as well as into the outer layer of the clothing. You could go for the cotton underclothes because of their breathability and blends for outer wear. Or you prefer blends for both. It’s all up to your liking…..As long as you don’t get too cold or too hot due to the change in temperature.

  The Weather

  • When exercising outdoor in cold weather, you need to put on quality Activewear clothes to layer up in the cold and keep warm.
  • If it’s very cold and/or windy, you could start with a light, sweat-wicking base layer to help keep you warm, even when you sweat. Choose light, thin as well as breathable materials that make up your clothing; that can also fit well under an outer layer, like wind pants.
  • These can make your workout a bit hot, depending on the temperature. The rule of thumb is to dress like it’s about 10 degrees colder than it really is.

What Makes Up Your Workout Apparel Wardrobe?

  • The right shoes for your workout-If you’re doing weights and low impact exercises, put on either a cross-training shoe, running or walking shoes. If you go running, then of course running shoes are the obvious choice, moreover they provide plenty of support too. The important thing is to wear shoes that suit the exercise you’re doing
  • Socks that fit your shoes – they should be snug and of the right  thickness so they won’t slide around in your workout shoes. If you go for socks that are too thick or too thin, you could get blisters which could spoil a good workout

Comfortable Fitness Workout Apparel like shorts, t-shirts, tights or whatever feels good for you – just take care that your clothes don’t chafe, ride up or slide down. But for shorts, be careful if you’ve sensitive skin, since they rub the insides of your leg. The alternative is to wear Bermuda or skateboarding shorts which minimize chafing

Light colored clothes, hats/caps, sunglasses and sunscreen for your outdoor exercise. Get some Activewear clothes that are made of unique wicking material that keeps you cool and dry in the summer and warm in the winter. The test is this: whatever makes you feel good and keeps you comfortable, is the thing to go…..
